Gramma Tickle is one of my favourite characters so I wrote another story about her. Originally intended to be a short story, the tale grew in the telling until it became a 9,000+ word novelette. In Amateur Grammatics, Gramma goes on her annual pilgrimage to berate the ocean for past misdemeanours and finds herself in the middle of a mystery of a dog with no soul and the hidden terror at the end of the pier.
